Digipak final

This is the combination of both Aimee's front and back cover and Hannah's inside covers. There are individual posts from each giving more details into the choices and reasons behind the ideas and presentation of the digipak.

Evaluation Question 4

How have you used new media in your research and planning, production and evaluation tasks?
The best way we found to present this task would be to embed screenshots as evidence to what we used. The blog is also new media so this would be incorporated in with the task.

Evaluation Question 3

What have you learned from audience feedback?
The best way to present this question would be in a prezi, this way you are able to evidence changes you have made from the feedback, what has changed between rough cut and final video and who we asked, who our target audience actually is.

Evaluation Question 2

Combination of ancillary products- how effective?

Directors Commentary would be the best way to preset this question

Evaluation Question 1

1) How does the production use/challenge/develop forms and conventions?

We thought that the best way to present this question would be through a 9 frame analysis as you would be able to capture and pinpoint the exact moments that you believe uses or challenges the conventions of music videos and your genre. By doing this you are then able to put the screenshots you have taken into a final cut document to add your music in and create annotations on the youtube video.

Digipack front and back cover

I chose pictures of the guitar to highlight the fact that Sonya writes and plays her own music. This is essential to our target audience as most of them are aspiring musicians. I tied this is with the music video as it is the guitar that can be seen in the music video. The title 'sonya titus' is also the same title from the website banner. This individualised the digipack whilst also allowing people to recognise things from the rest of our campaign. The pale pink of the song titles on the back colour also matches the colour scheme of our website. The wallpaper behind the guitar is not the same but similar to the blue book design that was used through out our campaign. Below you can see some initial designs that I decided didn't work out. I used the colours from the banner of the website and layered them over the picture of Hannah with the book, but as you can see this looked much too childish, my intention was to use the same colour scheme on the back cover but I didn't attempt it as it was obvious it didn't work.
